BikeHard Carbolite Pro Road Bike Frame 50cm BlackThe BikeHard Carbolite Pro frame is newly redesigned for 2011. The mainframe has a number of serious upgrades including newly shaped double butted custom drawn 6061 alloy down tube, top tube, and head tube. These shapes are certainly more aerodynamic, but more importantly increase the stiffness and strength at all weld points. The head tube is fully integrated to decrease weight, and the welding over the entirety of the frame has transitioned to an even smoother double pass weld. A new carbon mold for the seat stays and chain stays completes the package, decreasing overall frame weight and increasing the shock absorption of the rear.
The Carbolite will ride as nice as any full carbon frameset, specifically because both the fork and the entire rear triangle is entirely carbon fiber.
Matching carbon fork is lighter, stronger, and seamlessly integrates into the frame.
