Haro Shredder 18 ST Gloss Magenta/SilverThe Haro Shredder 18 ST has all the same features as the Shredder 18 but with a slightly different frame. The geometry is the same but the girl's version has a slightly lower top tube stand over which makes it easier to straddle. The Shredder 18 is engineered for when you're too big for a 16" but too small for a 20", the Shredder 18 fills the void. The low-profile alloy frame and 18" alloy rim wheels bridge the size gap for growing riders who are sized in between the 16" and 20" models. The Shredder 18 is built around a lightweight, low-profile heat-treated 6061-T6 series alloy frame paired with a durable steel 1-1/8" threadless fork and headset. Its drivetrain features a steel 1-piece 140mm crankset, an American bottom bracket, and a 36T steel chainring driving a standard-link Haro Baseline chain connected to a coaster brake rear hub. The bike rolls on 18" single-wall alloy 28-hole rims laced to a steel front hub and wrapped in wide Haro MS5 18 x 2.35" tires. For stopping power, it combines a traditional foot-operated coaster brake with a rear Promax alloy V-brake, which is managed by a child-friendly Promax 2-finger lever. The cockpit is equipped with a steel handlebar with a 6.5" rise held by a Haro Baseline forged alloy top-load stem with a 38mm extension, finished with Haro Mini grips.
